What is ciabatta bread?

Ciabatta is a popular Italian white bread made from wheat flour, salt, yeast, olive oil and water. It is soft and has a chewy texture and holes inside like a honeycomb.

How to choose the best?

Ciabatta is softer than other whole grain breads, so try testing its softness by pressing it with your finger. Also, a high quality ciabatta bread will have a slight glossy finish on the inside.

How to use it?

Take a bread slice and serve with olive oil, salt and a pinch of grounded black pepper. You can also use it as sides in salads or make sandwiches filled with meat and cheese. Ciabatta is often toasted or grilled to make paninis.

Where to store ciabatta loaf?

You can cling wrap the bread and store it at room temperature for 2-3 days, don’t put it inside your fridge or else it will get dry from inside.
